Liberty Graphics welcomes new General Manager
LIBERTY — Liberty Graphics, a Maine T-shirt printing company, announces the appointment of Scott McCormac as the new General Manager. McCormac officially began his role in early January, succeeding former GM and current Art Director Sam Bartlett.
With over thirty years of experience in production management, McCormac brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, according to Liberty Graphics, in a news release. He has a diverse background with experience in graphic arts, electronics manufacturing, hydroponic agriculture, and, most recently, the wooden products industry.
“It is a great honor to join the employee-owned cooperative at Liberty Graphics," said McCormac. "The rich history of pioneering artistic images of nature on T-shirts using water-based inks combined with a strong team of employee-owners positions Liberty Graphics for an exciting and rewarding future.”
The Liberty Graphics Employee Cooperative is overseen by a Board of Directors that hired McCormac.
“All of us at Liberty Graphics are looking forward to beginning this next chapter with Scott at the helm,” said Erik Perkins, President of the Board of Directors. “We’re confident his style of leadership will weave seamlessly into the fabric of the company, preserving our legacy and culture while helping us achieve some fairly lofty goals.”
Established in the late 1970s, Liberty Graphics produces screen-printed t-shirts featuring the wonders of the natural world. Their retail stores in Liberty, Camden, & Portland are a staple for nature enthusiasts of all ages. They can also be found online at NatureTshirts.com
