Learn about the power of pets with Quarry Hill, April 25

CAMDEN — Quarry Hill hosts an afternoon of pet talk Thursday, April 25, at 1:30 p.m., at the Anderson Inn.

Researcher Caroline Knight, RN, CCRP, will speak to the proven positive effect both robotic and natural pets have in clinical and personal applications, including reducing loneliness, depression and stress.

A representative from PAWS Animal Adoption Center will share the process of pet adoption.

As an added bonus, participants will be treated to a visit from therapy dog Angus.
