Knox County Girl Scouts deliver cookies to local food pantries












This June, Girl Scouts of Knox delivered just over 150 cases of cookies to five towns throughout the Knox Service Unit, delivered by their Product Program Supervisor and girls from multiple troops.
Avery of Troop 191 delivered to Warren Cupboard, Kloe of Troop 191 and Emma of Troop 1528 delivered to St. George Community Development Cupboard, Emma of 1562 and Nataly of Troop 191 delivered to Camden Community Cupboard, Morgan of Troop 191, Nataly of Troop 191, and Sophia a Juliette in Knox Service Unit delivered to Rockland's AIO, and Myf of Troop 1562, Lorelei of Troop 191, Sophia, a Juliette in Knox Service Unit Bella of Troop 548, Clara of Troop 548, Addie of Troop 1711, and Rinny of Troop 1711 delivered to Union's Come Spring Food Pantry.
"Thanks to the generous support of Girl Scouts of Maine for helping keep these cookies local and give our communities a little sprinkle of Girl Scout Sweetness," said Trina Schroeder, in a news release.
Girl Scouts of Maine builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. GSME provides services and support to over 12,000 girl and adult members statewide, and operates service centers and shops in South Portland and Bangor.
