Jeanette E. Palmer, obituary
ROCKLAND — Jeanette E. Palmer, 70, passed away at Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts on Thursday, January 2, 2025, with her family by her side after a brief illness.
Born in Portland, Maine to Richard S. Wellington Sr. and Mary L. Demmons. She attended and graduated from Medomak Valley High School.
Jeanette raised and showed Yorkies in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She ran a day care in in Virgina Beach as well, while her husband was stationed there in the military. She loved her horses Danny Boy and Ladd, that she had in her younger years and her horse Grizzley that she had later in life.
Jeanette was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly “Kimi” Palmer; sister Pam; granddaughter Chelsea; stepfather Keith Burns; Ellery McCluskey and Richard Wellington Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Pamer; mother, Mary Burns; her son Keith Jones and wife Linda; daughter Kelli Johnson; grandchildren Tyler Jones, Timmy Chickering, Phisher Grindle, Ashley Chickering, Brooke Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
