ISLESBORO — Islesboro Central School is pleased to announce its recent hire of a new school athletic director.

Tracey Wouri, a 1999 ICS graduate, was an avid athlete throughout her time at the island school, a press release from the school stated. 

She played soccer, ran cross country and track and field, and played basketball throughout high school, and played soccer at Colby Sawyer College where she studied nutrition.

The release noted Wouri is excited to work with her alma mater to build its athletic programs, bring the town together for games, as the pandemic and health guidelines allow, and unite the community in school spirit for its athletic programs.
