BELFAST — “Back to School season can be hard on the budget and Waldo Community Action Partners wants to make sure your child kicks off the year ready to learn!” said WCAP, in a news release.

WCAP is hosting a giveaway of backpacks full of school supplies to income eligible students in Waldo County.

Prefilled backpacks will be available free of charge to families who live in Waldo County and are income eligible for MaineCare or WIC. This year WCAP has a wide variety of supplies to accommodate the needs of students enrolled in K to 12th grade.

Available while supplies last. Appointments and masks are required for pick up.
