BANGOR — Four Midcoast golfers participated in the Maine four-ball championship, organized by the Maine State Golf Association, at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 23. 

In the weekend event, two-man teams competed a 36-hole four-ball stroke play competition in which the better score from either player on every hole counts for the team score.
