Drop-off locations announced for in-kind donations to local hospitals

    LincolnHealth, Pen Bay Medical Center, Waldo County General Hospital have submitted the following joint statement:

    As we continue to confront the COVID-19 pandemic, we at LincolnHealth (LH), Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) and Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) have been blessed with an extraordinary outpouring of support and in-kind donations of supplies and services from our community.

    In response, we have now set up a dedicated team to process these in-kind donations and ensure that they get to the right place at the right time to do the most good. If you would like to donate supplies or services, please call 301-3950 to schedule a drop-off.

    The list of needs includes N95 masks, surgical masks, gowns, surgical eyewear and gloves, among other items. We are unable to accept some items and can advise you about these when you call.

    Drop-off locations are:

    PBMC: 756 Commercial St., Rockport

    WCGH: 138 Northport Ave., Belfast

    LH: Family Care Center, Lower Level - 19 St. Andrews Lane, Boothbay Harbor

    LH: Webster Van Winkle Building, Lower Level (Miles Campus) - 79 Schooner Street, Damariscotta

    Unfortunately, to protect the health and safety of our patients, we are unable to receive any unscheduled drop-offs. You must call ahead to schedule a drop-off. For larger donations or handmade items, please visit www.mainehealth.org/donate and fill out the donation form.
