Chrisso for Camden Select Board: Not a one-issue candidate
Our town is embroiled in debate, and as one can see from the signs everywhere, sharply divided. As Chair of the Camden Planning Board, I am no stranger to divisive issues. I first met Chrisso Rheault when he joined our ranks on the Planning Board in January 2021 after serving two years on the Zoning Board of Appeals. I was immediately struck by his thoughtful and considered contributions.
We need leadership on the Select Board who doesn’t come to the office with their own personal agenda. Over the four-plus years I have worked with Chrisso, I have found him to be one of the most singularly open-minded and level-headed people I know.
He is able to hear all sides, engage in respectful debate, and form a well-reasoned opinion after considering all viewpoints. We have not always agreed, but we have always maintained a mutual respect for each other and all of the hardworking members of the Planning Board and town staff.
Speaking of hard work, public service can be thankless and time consuming. Serving on the Select Board is the pinnacle of selfless public service.
Chrisso is not a one-issue candidate and has a dedicated history of public service and knows the process. The Town of Camden would be fortunate to have Chrisso’s voice and contributions on the Select Board.
