Children’s nature walk to discover the wonders of Prescott And Washington School Trail
On Wednesday, July 16, from 10 - 11:30 a.m., the Washington Lakes Watershed Association invites local children to come and discover the beauty and wonder of The Prescott And Washington School Trail (PAWS).
This is a free children's educational nature walk at the trail behind the Prescott Memorial School located at 100 Waldoboro Road, in Washington.
The walk will be led by Merryspring Program Director John Fromer. The focus of the walk will be discovering what types of wildlife and plant life can be found along the trail.
All participants should dress for exploration and fun. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended.
The walk is open to children ages 7 through 12. There is a maximum group size of 10 children, pre-registration is required. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For questions and to register please text 207-692-7326.
