WALDOBORO — Carlo P. Bianchi, Jr., 69 of Waldoboro, passed away on November 21, 2017 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 22, 1947 in Framingham, Massachusetts to Carlo P. Bianchi, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Malcomson) Bianchi.

Carlo grew up in Walton, New York and attended Walton Central High School, Class of 1966. After graduation he was drafted into the Army. He served his country in the Viet Nam War and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

After moving to Waldoboro, Carlo worked for Randy at The Movie/Pizza Shoppe for 17 years. He loved interacting with everyone who came in to the Shoppe.
Carlo was a Past Master of the King Solomon Lodge #61, Past District Deputy Grand Master and 32º member of the Scottish Rite. He was very passionate and devoted to the Masonry all over the State.

He loved sports, his family, and especially loved being "Bumpa" to his grandson.

Carlo was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Eileen (Black) Bianchi of Waldoboro, his daughters, Elizabeth Bianchi of Warren, Mary Bianchi and Dan Bischoff of Waldoboro, grandson, Michael Bischoff of Waldoboro, brother David T. Bianchi of Brick, New Jersey, brother-in-law, Ernie Black and wife Mary of Marlborough, MA., sister-in-law, Evelyn Waugh of Rocky Point, NC and nephew David E. Bianchi of Fords, NJ.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main Street, Waldoboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. also at Hall's of Waldoboro. Interment will follow at Shuman Cemetery with military honors.
