ROCKPORT — The Midcoast chapter of the nonprofit League of Women Voters of Maine invites you to help them raise some dough, Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at American Flatbread, 399 Commercial St., Rockport.

A slice of the proceeds from every pizza ordered that night, including takeout, will go to LWV-Midcoast.

Members of the group will be on hand to answer election and voting questions. While you're there, you can pick up a copy of the League's free 2024 Voting Guide.

"We held an event at American Flatbread several years ago and we were really gratified by the support from the Midcoast Community," said LWV-Midcoast member Lilli Martin, in a news release. "Since then, we've emptied our coffers creating and distributing voter information materials, such as Vote 411 pamphlets and signs, and the wildly popular Voter Guide. We're hoping for another big night this year. It's a great chance to show support for voting rights and democracy just by enjoying some delicious pizza."
