Camden Police beat: Sexual assault, insurance violations, speeding
CAMDEN — Camden police reported the following activity from Feb. 4-28. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 4
John Ponte, 26, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Sam Butler for producing insurance not in effect.
Feb. 5
Jennifer Richman, 36, of Camden, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Feb. 6
Michael Drew, 30, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Brook Hartshorn for proof of insurance, failure to register vehicle and operating left of solid line.
Feb. 9
Daniel Barnes, 30, of West Rockport, was issued a summons by Sgt. Dan Brown for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident.
Feb. 10
Brandy-Jo Harriman, 39, of Searsport, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speed.
Feb. 12
Marshall Bolster Jr, 71, of Surry, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to produce insurance
Feb. 13
Seth Cohn, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Officer Wesley Butler for expired registration, failure to produce insurance.
Joshua Brady, 37, of Camden, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speeding.
Feb. 14
Male Juvenile, 15, of Camden, was issued a summons by Detective Curt Andrick for two counts of gross sexual assault.
Feb. 19
Richard Ellis, 30, of Camden, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speed.
Feb. 26
Joseph Libby, 51, of Rockport, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to produce insurance.
Michael Morrison, 41, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speed.
John Hayden 47, of Bangor, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to display current inspection, failure to produce insurance.
Feb. 28
Thomas Groening, 58, of Belfast, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speed.
