Camden Police beat: OUI, insurance violations, arrest for unpaid fines
CAMDEN — Camden police reported the following activity from Nov. 2-30. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 2
Juvenile, from Union, was issued a summons by Officer Sam Butler for operating between 12-5 a.m. on an intermediate license.
Jeffrey Alexander, 45, of Camden, was arrested by S. Butler for operating under the influence.
Nov. 3
Pierre Marki, 63, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Allen Weaver for speeding.
Nov. 7
Jamie Russell, 29, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Officer Brook Hartshorn for failure to produce insurance.
Nov. 10
Gavyn Powers, 18, of Rockland, was issued a summons by S. Butler for failure to produce insurance.
Nov. 16
Isaiah Mentas, 19, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speeding.
Nov. 17
Michael Gibbs, 45, of Camden, was arrested by Officer Wes Butler for unpaid fines.
Nov. 30
Darren Grindle, 46, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Hansen for failure to produce insurance and attaching false plates.
