Camden Hills Regional High School Football Team to take on Mt. Ararat Friday for semifinal game
On Friday, Nov. 8, the Camden Hills Regional High School Football Team with square off with Mt. Ararat, the team from Topsham.
Camden Hill's eight-man football team will be a rematch of Camden's comeback victory earlier this year (36-30).
The winner of this game will move on to the eight-man championship against the winner of the Greeley vs. Lake Region game.
Camden has already played both of those teams, beating Greely 14-6 at the start of the season and losing to Lake Region 54-26.
Here's what CHILLS coach Chris Christie had to say before the rematch with one of their toughest opponents of the year: "The team is in a great spot right now. We really needed the week to rest and to mentally prepare for the second half of the season."
When asked about the game plan and if it had changed considering how close the last game was, he responded, "The game plan is going to be the same but the schemes used to achieve the plan always change from game to game."
