THOMASTON – The junior varsity game got underway shortly after the varsity game between the host Oceanside Mariners and the visiting Windjammers of Camden Hills.
After an 8-4 win by the Oceanside varsity the Windjammer JV’s came out firing on all cylinders that led to a 4-1 win for Camden Hills giving the two teams a split on the day.
Halsey Yattaw led the attack for Camden Hills (goal, 2 assists), Suzannah Bray (goal, assist), and Emily Bowen and Ginny Laurita (goal each).
For Camden Hills Janelle Fowlie scored the lone goal and keeper Molly Spencer had one save.
