Camden Hills girls cross country third in state championship; Medomak, Belfast runners also compete
BELFAST — The 2018 Maine state cross country championships were held Saturday, Oct. 27 at Belfast’s Troy Howard Middle School and featured runners from Camden Hills, Belfast and Medomak Valley.
In the Class A girls division, Camden Hills finished third with a total time of 1:40:19.70. The Windjammers now qualify for the New England Regional Championship. Additionally, Augusta Stockman, Elsie Hildreth and Claire Wyman qualified as individuals.
In the Class B girls division, Medomak Valley finished 11th with a total time of 1:54:12.77.
With only run competitor, the Camden Hills boys (Class A), Belfast boys (Class B) and Belfast girls (Class B) did not register team scores.
