Brian Stranko to lead discussion on Trout Unlimited priorities in Maine
ROCKPORT — George’s River Trout Unlimited welcomes Brian Stranko, Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, in Rockport, for a discussion on TU priorities in Maine.
Brian Stranko recently joined the Trout Unlimited staff as its Maine Program Manager. Stranko has led water, salmonid, and land conservation programs for more than 20 years, including working with The Nature Conservancy and as Chief Executive Officer for California Trout, a statewide salmon, trout and steelhead conservation organization.
The January 8 meeting will be an opportunity to meet Stranko in person and hear from him about TU priorities in Maine. The meeting will be held upstairs in the fly shop at Maine Sport in Rockport. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. with “Trout Talk,” an informal gathering for those who wish to visit and meet Stranko before the presentation.
Pizza is available for purchase by the slice. The formal meeting and featured presentation begin at 7 p.m. GRTU conducts a raffle directly following the speaker.
