UNITY — Bobbie-Jo Margaret Ames, 40, passed away January 2, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland after a long illness.  She was born October 28, 1977 to James and Joanne (Tucker) Ames.  She attended school in Belfast.  Bobbie-Jo enjoyed being with her family.  She loved having cookouts, playing video games and watching movies.  

Bobbie-Jo is survived by her two dogs, Tabby and Daisy; her long-time partner Bill Sanford, her parents James and Joanne Ames of Searsmont; brother Errol and wife Karen Littlefield of Rockland, sister Jami and wife Rosie Weiner of Waterville, sister Valerie Hannan and husband Robert of Palermo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.   

Graveside services will be held in the spring.  Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
