Bird images – Beyond Audubon talk recognizes bird artists, naturalists from 1500s through last century

    ROCKLAND — On Thursday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m., join Dr. Kay Etheridge to learn about bird artists and naturalists from the 1500s through the last century. Etheridge will show and discuss natural history images that combine art and science in ways that have furthered our knowledge and appreciation of birds.

    Those attending the live presentation at the Maine Coastal Island Wildlife Refuge Center, at 9 Water Street in Rockland, will be eligible to win a natural history print. Can’t make it in person? Join live via Zoom at the same time.
