Benjamin L. Watson, 90, passed away April 25, 2018 in Bangor. He was born June 17, 1927 in Rockland, Maine to Leroy and Jennie (Young) Watson. He served in the U.S Army and was a member of the American Legion. He worked with his Dad for many years, and after his Dad passed took over the waste removal. Ben worked at the shipyard in Rockland and delivered new boats for Stewart Marine. He also worked with his wife at lawn mowing and drove bus for SAD 5 in Rockland for seven years.

He was predeceased by both parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ben is survived by his wife of 73 years, Clarice A. Watson of Searsport; his children Patricia D. Spear and husband Edson of Friendship, Carol L. Foley of Searsport, Linda A. Watson of Winterport, Gloria F. Dorr and husband Warren of Virginia, Christine M. Anderson of Stockton Springs, Susan E. Watson of Florida; 13 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren as well as many friends.
