ROCKPORT — Applications are now being received for selection as the beneficiary of proceeds from the June 2020 concert by Midcoast Community Chorus (MCC).

Annually, the spring MCC concert is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support the mission and work of a local nonprofit organization addressing an important need in the local community. Any organization interested in applying must be a local nonprofit located within the greater Knox County area.

The application deadline is November 13, 2019.  Selection will occur in December and an announcement of the beneficiary will be published in January.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Steve Weston, Midcoast Community Chorus is a vibrant 160-voice, non-auditioned, multigenerational, community chorus with a mission to “sing as a community for the community.”

“Well known for its dynamic sold out concerts, MCC sings music of hope, healing, peace and transformation from all over the world  with the belief that ‘when we sing we change who we are, when we change who we are, we change the world,’” said MCC, in a news release.

Applicants will find the application form at website: www.mccsings.org/content/beneficiary/beneficiary application.  Submit your organization’s application with appropriate documentation to be considered for the award.

You may submit your application online or print out the form and mail it in to MCC, PO Box 192, Rockport, ME 04856.
