NORTHPORT — With picture-perfect weather, the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual golf tournament Friday, Sept. 11 as 11 teams competed for a range of prizes, including the possibility of winning a 2020 Buick Encore GX from Stanley Chevrolet Buick in Belfast.
“This being the only event the Chamber had held thus far in 2020, due to COVID-19, we were very glad to have the amount of sponsorship and participation that we did, making the event this year a profitable one,” a news release stated. “Many thanks to Northport Golf Club for hosting our event safely and responsibly, and to everyone who participated in this year's golf tournament, from sponsors, to coordinators, to volunteers - we could not have done it without you!”
