Beatrice E. (Harvey) (Fletcher) Hodgdon, 73, of Belfast passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 2, 2018.
 
She grew up in Winterport area the daughter of Kenneth and Marguerite (Gray) Harvey, one of 21 children.  Beatrice started her family of five children and they settled in Waldo county.  She enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, baking and card games.  Beatrice was known for her love of life which included singing and dancing.  She was a loving grandmother and enjoyed spending time with the special people in her life.  In her later years she became an avid Bruins fan and enjoyed watching wrestling on TV.
 
She is predeceased by her parents and husband David Fletcher, as well as several siblings.
 
Beatrice is survived by her children Shelly Cunningham and husband Philip and Terry Gray all of Ohio, Ruta Wilson and husband Tim of Frankfort, Sandra Hills and husband Adam of Searsmont, and Madeline Fletcher and partner Anthony of South Carolina; siblings Eleanor Drouin of New Hampshire, Eva Doolan and husband Sam of Belfast, Diana Seekins and husband Lawrence of Frankfort, Susanna Grindle and husband Gerald of Stockton Springs; grandchildren Gail, Robert, Brian, Christopher and wife Carla, Nicole and significant other Kevin, Joshua, Kaleb and fiancé Emma, and Josh and Joanna Wilson; great grandchildren Victoria, Payton, and several others and special friend Eileen Lonsdal of Belfast.
 
Visiting hours will be held for family and friends on Friday April 6, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Memories and condolences may be offered to the family at www.ripostafh.com
