Basic Septic System Installation for contractors, site evaluators, April 3
OWLS HEAD — Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District is sponsoring a day-long training in Basic Septic System Installation for contractors and site evaluators on April 3, 2025, at the Owls Head Town Office Community Room.
The course will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and includes simple morning breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Presenters Glenn Angell, a retired State Site Evaluator, and Dave Rocque, retired State Soil Scientist, both have many years of experience as licensed site evaluators and State employees to share with the audience. Topics to be covered include: rule revision updates; LPI inspections; disposal system issues; septic system malfunctions; soils and hydrology for long lasting septic systems; and wetland and waterbody regulations.
Continuing education credits will be available upon completion of the training for Site Evaluators & Licensed Plumbing Inspectors and Contractors.
