Artists display “Flights of Fancy” at outdoor venue during Damariscotta's Art Tour

Saturday, June 27, 2026 - 10:00 am to 04:00 pmDuring the weekend of June 27 and 28, as part of the Damariscotta Region Chamber’s second annual Art Tour, the walking path in the meadow at Inn Along the Way will become a wonderland of many forms of art, according to Inn Along the Way, in a news release.
A collaboration of seventeen Maine artists have created eclectic “Flights of Fancy” from their imaginations, from metal sculptures to interactive pieces, furniture to glass to tapestries.
"Pieces are placed at various points along a mowed walking path, inviting you to pause, enjoy and be inspired," said the Inn.
The path takes approximately twenty minutes to walk.
This event is free. Dogs must be on leash.
Artists include Andre Benoit (assemblage), Kathy Bouchard (paint and fiber), Jane Bjerklie-Barry (fiber), Susannah Crolius (found object altars), Barb Davis (natural material sculptor), Rose Farq (glass), Barb Ganem (fiber), Heather Greene (mixed media), Andrew Leck (metal), Catherine McCletsky (mixed media), Kirk Pantos (welded metal), Libby Reed (paint), Amy Parker (paint), JBone Sawyer (metal), Bess Welden (Death Wings), and Suse Wicks (storyteller).
If there is rain, many of the pieces will be moved into the Long Barn where seven additional artists will be showcasing and selling their work from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., including jewelry, altars and grief boxes and paintings as part of the Damariscotta Region Chamber’s Art Tour.
