Thomaston Place Auction Galleries presents “Autumn Majestic”, with an amazing inventory of fine art, jewelry, interior antiques, folk art, and decorative rarities harvested from estates and collections through Maine and the Northeast.

On Friday, the sale will feature a large selection of contemporary and vintage home furnishings; and a special “5% discount - Cash and Carry” offer will be extended to in-house buyers only who purchase, pay for, and remove items from the gallery by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

The auction will include a vast collection of fine paintings, including Zao Wou-Ki, Remy Mignot, Dahlov Ipcar, Marguerite Zorach, Bill Traylor, Ivan Aivazovsky, and many others, including local, Maine artists.

The sale will also have a wonderful selection of Danish & American midcentury furniture, including custom pieces by Thos. Moser, Stickley, Green Design, Eldred Wheeler and more.

Five automobiles will also be sold, as well as an array of firearms & militaria, as well as marine art, scrimshaw, trade signs, sculptures, ephemera, musical instruments and more.

The gallery will be open for previews from Monday - Friday, Oct. 31 – Nov. 5 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.); Saturday, Nov. 6 (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.); and Monday - Thursday, Nov. 7 - 10 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.). Previewing will also be available on auction days, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 11, 12 & 13, from 9 - 11 a.m.
