The Study Hall works closely with a credit recovery program to offer an effective and proven way to help students earn the middle or high school credits they need to continue their education. The courses are designed to supplement school's existing curriculum, allowing students to make up credits in courses they didn't pass the first time through.

If you are a student who is in danger of failing, dropping out or losing athletic eligibility, this program may be able to help.  It’s a flexible alternative to Summer School and/or repeating classes - courses are available year-round, and are licensed, accredited, and academically challenging. Students can get right back on track, and even graduate on time!

The credit recovery courses contain from 30 to 45 hours of study materials, which the student must complete and return within six weeks for evaluation. A competency level of 75%, determined through evaluation by a certified instructor, will result in a recommendation from us that the student receive a "pass" grade with appropriate credit.

The Study Hall instructs and advises students one to two hours per week while the student completes the work. We offer flexible hours at our convenient location on Route 90 in Rockport.

The costs of the courses are $116 per unit + shipping & handling.

Tutoring fees are $48 an hour.
