Frankfort man arrested following disturbance
SWANVILLE — A Frankfort man was arrested Dec. 7, following a report to law enforcement that he was causing a disturbance.
Austin Hannington, 23, reportedly drove to a residence in Swanville while intoxicated. Once at the residence Hannington, who the complainant stated appeared intoxicated, proceeded to cause a fracas, according to a news release from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Wiley McVety, of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene where he encountered Hannington as he was attempting to leave the residence in his vehicle, according to a media report.
Hannington was arrested for felony operating under the influence and remains in custody on $700 cash bail.
