Naloxone training planned for Rockland, Nov. 27

ROCKLAND — Join pharmacists from Pen Bay Medical Center and community partners, Monday, Nov. 27, at 6 p.m., to learn how to use naloxone to save the life of someone who is experiencing an opioid overdose, and to learn about community resources in the area for those seeking recovery.
Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, is a life-saving medication that is used to counter the effects of drugs like heroin and prescription narcotics.
This free session will be held at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland.
