One woman died and three others were injured following a two vehicle accident on Route 3, around 1:40 p.m., Sept. 30, according to a statement from Sergeant Daniel Fitzpatrick, of the Belfast Police Department.

The crash, which occurred approximately 400 yards from the Belfast/Belmont town line, involved two small trucks carrying a total of at least four people.
