"Tales of Terror" at Watts Hall Community Arts, Oct. 28

    THOMASTON — Tales of Terror: A Halloween-Inspired Storytelling and Variety Show takes place Saturday, Oct. 28, at Watts Hall Community Arts, in Thomaston. Doors at 6:30 p.m., show at 7 p.m. The show is expected to last between 1 to 1.5 hours.

    “Get ready for a spellbinding evening of chills, laughter, and unforgettable entertainment as Watts Hall Community Arts presents the eagerly anticipated performance,” said Community Arts, in a news release. “This Halloween extravaganza is sure to enchant audiences of all ages with a bewitching blend of songs, stories, poems, skits, and even opportunities for audience participation.”

    As the air grows cooler and Halloween approaches, Watts Hall Community Arts invites the public to a family-friendly evening of Halloween-themed performances that are suitable for ages 10 and above.

    “With a diverse array of talents, ‘Tales of Terror’ promises to keep you on the edge of your seat while also tickling your funny bone,” said the release.

    What to Expect:

    -Spine-Tingling Stories: Gripping and ghostly tales that will transport you to a world of thrills and suspense.
    -Eerie Poems: Haunting verses that will send shivers down your spine.
    -Creepy Skits: Humorous yet hair-raising sketches that are sure to delight.
    -Ghostly Songs: Melodies that will enchant and chill you.
    -Audience Participation: Join in the fun with interactive segments that make you part of the show.

    Non-alcoholic beverages and an assortment of concessions will be available for purchase. Concessions are cash only.

    Tickets can be purchased in advance online at https://wattshallcommunityarts.thundertix.com or at the door on the day of the performance. Advance tickets are $15/person, door tickets will be $20/person. Payment methods accepted at the door are cash, card, and local checks.
