"A Seal's Journey" with Marine Mammals of Maine at Camden Public Library, Sept. 7

Event has passed

CAMDEN — Join Marine Mammals of Maine (MMoME) Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m., in the Picker Room at the Camden Public Library and on Zoom for "A Seal's Journey."

MMoME volunteer Jessica Woodend will share about a rescue seal's journey from stranding to release, and all of the obstacles in between. Attendees will also learn about seal basics, including whether it’s normal for seals to be out of the water and why you might see a baby on its own, as well as when and why seals need our help and how Marine Mammals of Maine plays a part.
