Salt Pond Studio holds Autumn Celebration, Oct. 14

FRIENDSHIP — Salt Pond Studio winds down the 2023 Season with a rotating exhibition of paintings, drawings and wall mounted works on porcelain by artist and gallery owner Pam Cabañas.
Cabañas’ work is featured in the 2023 Island Journal. Her large panels rendered in charcoal, are inspired by the working waterfront in her hometown of Friendship.
“The unique sgraffito on porcelain wall mounted pieces also reflect the creatures of the waterfront as well as the critters in our backyards,” said Salt Pond Studio, in a news release. “Also featured are whimsical yet poignant renderings of the antics of a well-loved feline friend.”
Join the artist at the Autumn Celebration, Saturday, Oct. 14, from 3 - 7 p.m., at Salt Pond Studio.
“Salt Pond Studio, known for lively events, is excited to wind down the season with you,” said the release. “Enjoy the exhibition, art and good company, as well as our fire pit and refreshments.”
Salt Pond Studio is located at 522 Cushing Road, Friendship, Maine in the renovated pre-civil war schoolhouse at the corner of Salt Pond Road and Rte. 97.
Fall Gallery hours are Thursday thru Sunday 12 - 4 p.m.
