UNION – Ruthie A. Hilt, 70, beloved wife of the late Philip Hilt, Sr., died surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at The Sussman House in Rockport.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Thomaston Baptist Church, Main Street. The Reverend Wayne Sawyer will officiate. Interment at East Union Cemetery will be in the spring.
