ROCKLAND — Oceanside area baseball players ages 13 to 15 are invited to tryout for the Oceanside area Babe Ruth baseball team sponsored by Rockland Ford. 

Tryouts for the team will be held Saturday, May 1 at Rockland’s Morrill Field at 3 p.m.

The team is open to those living in Rockland, Thomaston, Owls Head, Cushing, South Thomaston and St. George. 

The season runs from the middle of May though the middle of July as part of the Midcoast Babe Ruth League.
