Maine CDC adds ‘presumptive positive’ Knox County case to list of COVID-19 test results
AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC is tracking its COVID-19 results online, and updates its chart as the data is returned. By Monday afternoon, March 16, a Knox County case has been added to the list.
The presumptive positive distinction means that the sample from the patient has tested positive at non-governmental labs and are then sent to the Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory for validation.
In addition to Knox County, cases of COVID-19 have emerged in Androscoggin, Cumberland and Lincoln counties.
