NEW YORK – Black River Gin produced by Union’s Sweetgrass Farm, Winery and Distillery was awarded a Double Gold medal by The Fifty Best, an online guide that rates fine wines and spirits. The Fifty Best hosted a Gin Tasting, where 57 contenders were evaluated for the "Best Gin" awards for 2015. Using professional criteria, the panel of judges blind-tasted the gins and rated them individually on a five-point scale.
