This fall, Glen Cove Dental Associates ran a campaign in their office to help with Oceanside High School’s backpack program.  Our backpack program was created by Becky Harjula several years ago when she recognized an unmet need of students not having enough food over weekends.  Unfortunately, Becky passed away in November; we are continuing with this program due to the need in our community.

Thanksgiving week, we received bags and boxes full of food, as well as gift cards, mouthwash and toothpaste from Glen Cove Dental Associates.  We are so grateful to receive this donation, and want to publicly acknowledge the kindness shown by their office.  Their thoughtfulness to help us take care of our students is greatly appreciated and not unnoticed.
