A great weekend for a schooner festival

Attending the wedding of Helen Hemingway in Camden all these women were from Texas and traveled to be part of it all, landing in the middle of the Windjammer Weekend. Dana Rader is from Camden and sells tickets for the Lively Lady Harbor Tours. She says it’s a wonderful job. “This is my office,” she said. “I get to look out at the harbor every morning. Not a bad place to be at all.”

Although not part of the Schooner Days festival, but every bit a part of Camden, the Camden Yacht Club served its last lunch of the summer. Because all their staff have returned to school, members have been volunteering as food runners. The Yacht Club’s season ran from June 23, to August 30, 2014. Members volunteering on Saturday were: Left to right, Pam Mudge, Maryann Kline, Craig Mudge, Bobby Grant and Heinz Lehmann.
