In Friday night football semifinals, Mt. Ararat claims win over Camden Hills
Under the lights at Don Palmer Field Friday, Nov. 8, the Camden Hills Windjammers faced the Mt. Ararat Eagles in one of two eight-man football semifinal games.
Camden had beaten Ararat earlier in the regular season, needing a 24-point comeback to win by a final score of 36-30.
But, Mt. Ararat Eagles would dominate Camden Hills and not allow a comeback this time, winning by a score of 48-12.
was without starting QB Hollis Schwalm for the game, with the backup completing less than 50% of his passes for only 55 yards.
Mt. Ararat is now on to the state championship to play against Greeley. That will be their first appearance in the championship in five years.
