At 8 p.m., Chris Ricciotti of Montville, calls a contra dance with music by a trio BFS has dubbed Honey BEE (Benjamin Foss, Emily Troll and Eric Boodman) that is intergenerational and chem-free, welcoming new dancers and experienced folks alike.

“Chris has been leading dances throughout New England for decades, conveying the joy embodied in these social traditions,” said BFS, in a news release. “The musicians bring high energy and deep skill to their presentation of tunes new and old, and Eric Johnson handles the sound board with confidence rooted in four decades of doing sound for dances.”
