Celebrate the conservation of Hope’s Edge Farm with Land Trust, Maine Farmland Trust

"Since 2005, Georges River Land Trust has worked with a generous and committed Hope landowner to place an agricultural conservation easement on the 100-acre working farm at the base of Philbrook and Hatchett Mountains. Thanks to support from Maine Farmland Trust and the Land for Maine’s Future Program, this property was permanently protected in 2025."
Hope’s Edge Farm invites the community to celebrate this conservation milestone on Thursday, July 9, from 5 - 7 p.m. Refreshments and light fare will be provided. Farmers will provide a guided tour of the property.

"This conservation story is a long time in the making and Georges River Land Trust, Maine Farmland Trust, and Hope’s Edge Farm are thrilled to celebrate its future in agriculture for generations to come," said the news release.
Directions: Hope’s Edge Farm is located at 73 Morse Rd in Hope, ME. Parking will be clearly marked in the farm’s field and along a portion of Morse Road, according to GRLT.
