Bag O’ Books Sale at Rockland library, April 6
ROCKLAND — “Love to read? Can’t pass up a bargain? Want to support the Rockland Library?” said Friends of Rockland Public Library, in a news release.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 6. Friends of the Rockland Public Library will be hosting a Bag O’ Books Sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will be held at the Rockland Public Library, 80 Union Street, in the Community Room on the library’s lower level. All genres of lightly used books will be available for $10 a bag. Bring your own bag or use one provided.
Friends of Rockland Public Library is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization which raises funds to support the library while increasing community awareness of library services and programs. Proceeds from Friends’ fundraising activities support the purchase of children’s books, technology upgrades, and such services as interlibrary loans and the waiving of overdue fines.
