    CAMDEN — Jean-Louise (Peterson) Knowlton, 79, passed away peacefully Jan. 24, 2015, at Sussman Hospice House in Rockport after a lengthy illness.

    Jean was born July 4, 1935, in North Uxbridge, Mass., to Grace Jansen Peterson. She was the only girl and the youngest of four children. Jean graduated from Vinalhaven High School in 1953 and married Ralph Owen Knowlton that December. They celebrated their 61st anniversary last month.

    ROCKLAND — Ivan C. Rawley, 72, died peacefully Jan. 28, 2015, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

    Born Oct. 14, 1942, he was the son of Alfred and Frances Rawley. Growing up in Waldoboro and Warren, Ivan attended local schools.

    Enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1961, he was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1964. In 1963 Ivan married Sharon Proctor. Together they resided in Rockland their entire married life.
