BELFAST — Verna Pinkerton, 89, of Belfast, Maine, and Bushnell, Florida went to be with our Lord on March 11, 2024.

She was born to Harold and Lydia (Hall) Leathers on August 16, 1934.

She was a homemaker and attended Faith Temple Church of God in Belfast for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Wilmont "Willie" Pinkerton; her son Peter Pinkerton; six brothers and nine sisters.

She is survived by her son Will Pinkerton and wife Patricia "Pat" of Bushnell, Florida; grandchildren Belinda "Binky" Kingsbury and husband Robert of Frankfort, Maine, Kelly and husband Nathan of Waldo, Maine, Jamie Hall and husband David of Floral City, Florida, and Brad and wife Annie of Belfast, Maine; great grandchildren Victoria and Izac Stover of Waldo, Jasmin, David, Jade, and Jordan of Floral City, Florida, and Brad and Cole Pinkerton of Belfast; and her "baby" dog Jay.

There will be a funeral service August 15, 2024, at 1 p.m., at Faith Temple Church of God, 189 Lincolnville Ave, Belfast, ME 04915.
