Thomaston Place Auction Galleries serves three key audiences, these include: the general public, people who consign items to us for auction, and our auction bidders/buyers.
By providing appraisal services like Free Appraisal Day, we help the general public understand the value of their possessions. We also conduct in home appraisals, or “house calls”, where we provide a verbal assessment of a single item or an entire house. Our team will also review your items digitally via email, and provide appraisals for estate or insurance purposes. Year round, we travel throughout New England and beyond to conduct appraisals and attend fairs that assist nonprofit organizations with fundraising.
Our consignment services are designed to guide families, individuals, and institutions through the process of selling their heirlooms and prized possessions. Our thoughtful, discreet approach has resulted in an expanding base of families and institutions who entrust their treasures to us.
