Pomphile A. Fontaine, 33, of Hope, domestic violence assault, priors, three years in jail with all but 60 days suspended, probation three years. According to the affidavit filed by Detective Justin Twitchell of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in Knox County Unified Court, his investigation included details about Fontaine assaulting a 13-year-old boy in May 2017 and another boy in December 2015 who was 16 at the time of the incident. Their injuries included bruises on the arm and neck and injured ribs due to being thrown to the ground. Twitchell entered the investigation after the Knox County Sheriff’s Office received a referral from Hope Elementary School about a teacher’s concerns in reference to a neck injury with one of the victims. Twitchell documented in the affidavit that there is a clear history of abuse. Fontaine was also convicted of domestic violence assault in Rockland District Court in May 2013.

Gregory R. Hood, 44, of Cushing, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.
Peter Hynd, 20, of Thomaston, possessing softshell clams less than two inch-20%, $300 fine.
Bradley Hunter, 44, of St. Louis, Mo., $2000 fine, license suspended 150 days.
James E. Kennedy, 31, of Rockland, probation violation for original conviction of domestic violence assault, probation continued; failing to report, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail.
Christopher Kliewer, 37, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed; theft by receiving stolen property, $750 fine; restitution $88.50.
James M. Labelle, 47, of Whitefield, domestic violence assault, 364 days in prison all suspended, probation one year.
Adelia R. Leonard, 38, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, three years in jail with all but nine months suspended, probation two years, restitution $3723.47; burglary of a motor vehicle, three years in jail with all but nine months suspended, probation two years, restitution $3723.47.
Stephen J. Little, 30, of Warren, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation, $500 fine, six months in jail; operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, six months in jail, license suspended 150 days; criminal mischief, six months in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, six months in jail; disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, six months in jail; terrorizing, six months in jail; violating condition of release, six months in jail; driving to endanger, dismissed; theft by unauthorized use of property, six months in jail; failing to stop for an officer, six months in jail. According to the affidavit filed in Knox County Unified Court by Rockland Police, they responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Rankin Street. Police were told that Little had taken a vehicle from the residence without the owner’s permission. Officers located the vehicle and Little refused to stop after they turned on the cruiser’s lights and siren. Little then traveled to Old County Road, made a U-turn and headed back to Rankin Street, according to the affidavit. The vehicle struck a parked car near the residence on Rankin Street and Little ran out of the vehicle and tried to enter the home. Little was apprehended and handcuffed by police after resisting arrest. The woman at the residence told police that Little had become confrontational and caused damage in her home, including punching a hole in the wall and smashing a mirror. He pleaded guilty to the charges during his court appearance Feb. 16.
