Postponements, cancellations
Snow and sleet is on the horizon, and with that, there are event cancellations and postponements.
Vose Library Book Discussion: The Maine Woods by Henry David Thoreau has been rescheduled from Feb. 7 to Wednesday, February 21, 6:30 p.m. Join the Vose Library, at 392 Common Road, in Union, for the first edition of Let's Talk About It: Defining Wilderness, Defining Maine. Presented with the Maine Humanities Council, this is a monthly book discussion series facilitated by Dr. Joshua Kercsmar, Ph.D., Unity College. Book copies available from the library.

The Busline League Cheering Championship scheduled for tomorrow night at Medomak Middle School has been postponed to Friday, February 9, 5 p.m.
Due to the predicted storm, the Volunteer Appreciation Night scheduled for tomorrow evening at Rockland City Hall will be rescheduled.
Walter Guinon’s talk “How I Built My Electric Car” scheduled for Wednesday, February 7 at the Lincolnville Community Library has been postponed until Wednesday, February 21 at 7 p.m.
The Knox County Administrative Offices, Knox County Superior Court, and Rockland District Court will all be closing today, Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 12:30 p.m.
The Camden Hills varsity ice hockey game against John Bapst has been postponed to a yet to be determined date.
The Waldoboro Town Office will close at 2 p.m.
The Warren Town Office will close at 2 p.m. due to the storm.
All Maine State offices will be closing at 3 p.m.
