THOMASTON — Hundreds of people, many dressed in creative holiday outfits, lined the streets of Thomaston for its annual Fourth of July parade. There was something for everyone including original World War II jeeps, veterans, militia reenactments, dogs wearing costumes, vintage automobiles from the Owls Head Transportation Museum, Revolutionary period costumes and a popular clown to entertain the children. After the parade, the festivities continued in the business block with a chicken barbecue, food and vendor booths, a horseshoe tournament, giant bubbles, free bouncy houses, musical entertainment, and fireworks.
